Cash cooper

Cash Cooper (b.1990, New York City) is a Los Angeles-based painter who specializes in heroic-scale depictions of humanity en masse. His style is inspired by manga, video games, and the Northern Renaissance. The philosophical underpinning of his work can be found in ancient Egyptian and Sumerian mythology. An intense desire to convey a magical, transcendental existence catalyzes each of his paintings. His goal is to mesmerize those who see his work.

Cash Cooper’s work is also inspired by his world travels. He has completed fellowships in Singapore and Dalian, China. He received his BFA from California Institute of the Arts and his MFA from USC, Roski School of Art. He has exhibited in Los Angeles, Singapore and China.
