Gustavo Luz Sousa is brazilian born artist, painter, sculptor, and inventor based in New York City. He is the founder of 132 Studio, a creative practice where ideas take material form through art, design, and experimentation.

Working across sculpture, film, product design, and systems, Gustavo explores how imagination becomes tangible—how ideas can be built, touched, and lived. His work has appeared in The New York Times, NPR, The Guardian, and Fast Company.

Through 132 Studio, he has also collaborated with brands like Stella Artois, Diageo, Alessi, Meta, and GE—bringing the same artistic curiosity and inventive spirit to the commercial world that defines his personal practice.
